The Grounds + Location
Cedarholm
Four-plus private acres of Pacific Northwest forest, immaculately maintained and teeming with life.
Hundreds of evergreens — western red cedar, Douglas fir, western hemlock, Sitka spruce — create a living privacy screen and a canopy that shifts with the light through every season. A multi-level pond with a waterfall supports resident frogs and salamanders. A cliffside overlook offers views across the sound. A looping park trail winds past a year-round stream, a bench, and through quiet cathedral forest.
An orchard features mature plum trees along with younger apple and pear plantings. Adjacent tidelands are permanently protected as a greenbelt. And at the bottom of the property, the beach — reached through a frame of ancient Douglas firs, where herons, kingfishers, and seabirds work the shoreline.
Two private parks. Direct beach access. A property that holds its own world.

Ferncliff | Bainbridge Island
Ferncliff is one of Bainbridge Island’s most private and picturesque waterfront enclaves, known for its quiet surroundings, natural beauty, and easy access to both Seattle and the island’s most beloved destinations.
Tucked along Bainbridge Island’s eastern shoreline, Ferncliff offers a rare balance of seclusion and connectivity. Winding roads, evergreen landscapes, and views across Puget Sound create a setting that feels peaceful and removed, while still positioned conveniently between the charm of Rolling Bay and the energy of downtown Winslow.
Area Highlights
To the north, the Rolling Bay and Manitou Beach area reflects a quieter, community-oriented side of the island. Local favorites include Via Rosa 11 for intimate Italian dining, Bay Hay & Feed — the island’s iconic garden center and gathering place — and Rolling Bay Winery’s relaxed tasting room. Nearby shoreline access and beaches around Manitou Beach offer opportunities for paddleboarding, kayaking, and sunset walks along the water.
Just minutes south, Winslow provides Bainbridge Island’s vibrant downtown core, centered around the ferry terminal and filled with independent restaurants, cafés, and boutiques. Popular destinations include Bruciato for wood-fired pizza, Ba Sa Restaurant for modern Vietnamese cuisine, Blackbird Bakery, Bainbridge Brewing Alehouse, and Pegasus Coffee House — longtime staples of the island’s social and dining scene.
The neighborhood is especially valued for its connection to the outdoors, with nearby waterfront parks, wooded trails, and beach access contributing to a relaxed Pacific Northwest lifestyle.
Residents enjoy the ease of island living paired with convenient access to Seattle via ferry, creating a setting that feels both quietly removed and closely connected.
